$17 IPO opening
TSLA is the ticker. I'll be interested to see the faceplant to 13  and then maybe consider jumping in with a handful of shares.

i was watching this all day yesterday. it opened up, dipped, then gradually went up throughout the rest of the day. it's an interesting stock and interesting company. if they can get their cars down to $50k and oil goes up to $4/gallon, this could be a $40 stock in a year.

i was watching this when the market opened. talk about intense. the buy gaps were incredible. the market makers are going to profit many millions on this, and a lot of people will get caught holding the bag for the short term. too many people saying, "omg i gotta have this, i don't care what the price".
proceed with caution. i expect somewhat of a pullback from todays high.

Yup. i'm glad i didn't jump in. seems like the hype was already started to wear off.
going to watch this for a while. there's just too much debt for me to feel comfortable jumping in big on this. But at the same time, this might be MSFT in 1977..... a hole in the wall with a lot of debt and expensive ass products that the average person can't afford.....

i'm going to wait and see how many cars they sell. check their website, they are taking pre-orders for some cool ass cars. however, if they can't get costs down and clean up the balance sheets, there are going to be a lot of issues.
