Default $7.95 trades at fidelity

I missed this back in feb and haven't made a transaction until today. I noticed the lower commission on the sale. 7.95. awesome. no more 19.95 a trade! glad i never moved to etrade or sharebuilder/etc now.

75% of fido had the cheap trades. it's the old 401k/IRA holders that got hosed.

if you got to a company like TD ameritrade, they will match trade commissions with other brokers.

i trade with TDA.

all my stocks are in my roth or simple IRA (that i need to do a rollover on to a regular ira since i'm not working at the place it was set up at anymore). i never moved because it was just easy to have it all in one place. now, i don't have to

dont' go to scottrade though. they charge a "per share fee" on penny stocks. often as high as $.01/share.
