It appears I am not alone. I have been pressing for Silver for a long time now. A nationally known "money guy" has an article on Yahoo! Finance regarding this same topic.

Silver is currently around $12 an ounce in raw form. (You can obtain the latest values for silver and other metals at Live Market Quotes )

It spiked hard earlier this year, but look at the 10-year trend... it hasn't fallen and continues to rise.
a YEAR ago, August 2005, silver was $6 an ouce.

WHERE ELSE can you return 100% on your money in a YEAR.? And if you are doing silver via coins, there is intrinsic value to deal with- and it's a function of condition, rarity, and silver prices. When silver bumps 50 cents an ounce, silver ounce coins bump a LOT more than 50 cents.

I think silver investing is wise as silver prices have rising over last year or so and it has been noticed that there is 300% percent increase in the silver prices world wide . But gold has not this sharp increase in its price.So if you have money and you want to make it double, triple or many folds then invest your money in silver.

Investing in silver is a good option because the prices of silver are rising from the last year and people who are investing in it are getting profitable return on their investments.
