have you tried to use www.lendingtree.com ???
multiple lenders can make you offers... don't just go with anyone... do a little research... all those inquiries will lower your credit score... not much, but enough to make a difference... www.bdnationwidemortgage.com www.eloan.com/s/show/mortgage_refinance_splash www.Wachovia.com www.Ditech.com if you are able to refinance and you're not able to make the high payments, then set it up for 30yrs. You can always pay more on the monthly payment if you're able... plus, most places no longer charge penalty for early payoff.... (once you get to that point that is... ) or look for mortgage specialist... but they'll probably charge a separate charge... best of luck... |

You're in the same boat with thousands of others. Check with a mortgage broker. You have time, even if you miss the October payment. You can still make it up. I assume you have talked with the lender and they refuse to talk to you.

bwahahahahaha
Every idiot says: "buy a house!" (lookin for cheap real estate soon) Lower the price, or someone's buying it at the courthouse. You're eating a loss no matter what, as everyone who ever borrowed money ever did. (i'm renting, and completely debt free) |

It's going to be tough trying to get a mortgage with your home still on the MLS. Even if you pull it off the MLS, most mortgage companies require it to be off at least 3 months.
You definitely want to be proactive here though. The following are a few ideas. Contact your current lender regarding a forbearance agreement. Try to get a renter in there. Lower your price. Try to get the lender to accept a short sale. Any of these will be better than a foreclosure. If you know you can't make your payments anymore, and you can't sell, you need to contact someone like www.webuyuglyhouses.com immediately. They'll buy your home off of you for less than what you want, but they'll take it off your hands. Good luck. |
