Default Federal Rate VS Mortgage rates

I found this rather interesting.

There's always been a lot of fuss surrounding the latest news about the Fed holding or upping their interest rates. Everyone gets all excited to borrow when it goes down.

Then, i ran into this chart, which graphs out Fed vs 30 yr and so forth mortgages.





There is BARELY a correlation at ALL to the federal rate vs the mortgage rates.
