Is a large percentage of U.S. paper currency contaminated with traces of cocaine?
Yep, this one's true. In fact, a study conducted by the National Institutes of Health tested U.S. currency and found that 79 percent of it bore minute traces of cocaine. This doesn't mean that most of our paper money has been directly handled by drug dealers or users, however. Cocaine is a very fine powder that is easily transferred from one bill to another, and can spread through indirect means, such as ATMs and money-counting machines. source:msn.com Find on MSN |
