In order for this country to function we need immigrants because i know no one will work in the kind of jobs an immigrant work and for the low pay. This country need hard workers to grow and all the immigrants help to develop this country building houses,freeways etc.

The first time we have a terrorist attack on the level of 9/11 that we find out the participants snuck across either land border, we will shut down both borders over night and have any illegal alien out within a week. Someone will cry about how much they put into opur economy, but on balance the loss of money, straining of social services and the loss of community serives like the hospitals for example, far outweighs all that, not to mention the security and criminal issues.

20 million?? The official numbers say 11 million. So you can cut those benefits is half for starters.
Now, let's talk about other things that would happen: 1) The cost of produce would skyrocket because it would cost too much to pick the crops. 2) Social security would collapse. Millions of illegals falsify social security numbers, pay into the system, and never receive payment. 3) The cost of all services here in the U.S. would become so expensive we could no longer afford them. The truth is, our economy is based on cheap labor. Before the current group of immigrants, there were the Poles, the Irish, the Italians, and the rest of our ancestors. The "illegal" phenomenon is a recent thing because the government destroyed the immigration process. It's near impossible to legally immigrate into this country for people who hail from poor countries. |

We would throw a huge nation wide party and declare it some sort of holiday. I have not thought of a name for the holiday yet. Maybe Wooooo Hoooo Day!
