Default renting a home in Arizona~ Laws?

Is there a law in AZ that says the landlord is responsible for the homeowners tax and the homeowners association fees, or can they include that in the rent?<br />

As the owner of the property, the landlord is ALWAYS responsible to pay taxes and HOA fees. But there is nothing in the law which says he cannot collect it from tenants, as long as it is part of the original rent agreement.

The amount you pay in rent will most likely include these items although they will not be clearly itemized.

If the landlord has to pay them, he will pass that onto you as the tenant.
