Oh, I'm in AP U.S. Government, but the questions you're asking is supposed to be from the section that I have to read tonight.
Overall, I'm just going to take a guess. -House Ways and Means Committee - I know that they along with the Senate Finance Committee.. write the tax codes, which are subject to the approval of Congress as a whole. -I know it's not Appropriations or Lobbyists. -Uncontrollable expenditures? An example, the Social Security System. I know the answer is not legislative veto. I'd probably say the Constitution. Wait, nevermind. Scratch that. I just read.. "Uncontrollable expenditures are expenditures that are determined not by a fixed amount of money appropriated by Congress but by how many eligible beneficiaries there are for a program or by previous obligations of the government." So probably previous legislation. |
