NFP stands for the Non-Farm Payroll. It is a monthly report that the US government releases on the first Friday of each month. It is widely considered to be one of the most important reports and it has been known to result in some major price movements in some major currencies if the anouncement is higher or lower than what is expected.

Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP) is a measurement of amount of jobs created in non-agricultural industry. Which also means the amount of jobs created in the city. The higher the job created each month shows a strong growth in the country's economy --- which means a stronger currency. This figure could also mean that more people are leaving agricultural sector to find jobs in the cities. Hence showing that there is a strong economic move from agricultural to industrial in the country.

NFPs is one of the most important (if not the most important) figure in measuring the strength of the Dollar. it is known to set the direction of the dollar each month.
