The best credit card that offers low interest and lets you earn mileage points is the citi premier pass credit card. It offers 15,000 bonus points after your first purchase is made within 2 months of account opening; 0% APR on balance transfers for 12 months; Earn 1 Flight Point for every mile you fly on any airline - or anyone else whose ticket you buy with the card; Earn 1 Select Spend Point plus 1 Purchase Point for every dollar you spend at gas stations, supermarkets, and drugstores; Plus earn 1 Purchase Point for every other dollar you spend. It is by far the best airline mile credit card.

Probably would be a losing end when it comes to getting free ticket by spending on credit cards. Most cards require you to spend $15,000 to $30,000 to get a free ticket. You may say to yourself, if I have to spend that much, why not get a ticket out of it? But the truth is, you don't need to spend that much. An average ticket (say, Los Angeles to New York City and back) may cost as little as $300. Instead of spending (and likely run up debt that you will never pay off) $20,000 to get that $300 ticket, simply save up the $300 and pay for the ticket itself, without having to get in debt doing it.

Don't think this is a sound idea? Just ask those who have been awarded a free ticket, if you know them well enough, ask them how much they "spent" to get that ticket. Most of them wish they hadn't....
