I am wondering this because I thought I wanted to be in HR, but now I think about it, I've spent the last 12 years working with the general public and I don't want to be there again. Any ideas that might help to jog my memory? I like working with people, but not with the public (i.e. "customer-first" in action). Don't get me wrong I'm all about the customer first, I just don't want to spend my time doing just that. So what do you think? Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management...<br />

I think supply chain management is the same as operations research. It requires learning linear programming, but it is really cool. You formulate mathematical problems to solve real world issues of supply and demand.
