Start a business that requires a service with minimal equipment that is cheap and easy to get. For instance, pool and spa service technician (pool boy...) you can schedule 4-5 or more pools day for 45-55 dollars (maybe more) a pool. All you would need is the pole, vac head, hose, net or two, brush. Have your clients provide their own chemicals that you put in for them once a week. Take a sample of water to the local pool and spa company to test their water for them and possibly charge a small fee for that.
Same applies with a spa. Have a surge pump with a good size hose to drain the spas fast. Use none soap cleaner to clean the shell of the tube. High pressure sprayer to put on the end of a garden hose to clean the filters. As your doing that your filling the spa again. Put their chemicals in and turn back on and your done. In one day you would have you equipment payed for. Once you get into the swing of thing and doing the same pools over and over you can clean about 10 pools or a few spas in a day and just clean up. Good luck and hope you find a good start up. |

My vote is definitely in the home-based business industry. 175K people join one everyday. There are some really great companies out there. The start up cost don't even compare with a traditional brick and mortar business. And you don't have all the headaches either. Ebay can also be good. I did that for a while and made some good money but it was very time consuming for me and didn't have the option of residual income. Home-based biz worked for me. Good luck.
