Default How much will I make as an office assistant for the government?

I have 3 years experience. And a 4 year degree in business management.<br />

It depends. Are you wanting county, city, state or federal government? What state are you looking in?
Each branch of government and state have different pay ranges.
For a state job in KS, an OA would start at $9.01/hr or an Admin. Assistant, $9.90/hr.

Check with your local newspaper, joblink site, state, county, city and federal websites to find jobs similar to what you're looking for.

Usually, OA's are low on the totem pole for experience and pay. If you have the experience and a degree, I'd be looking a little higher up the career chain.

It depends on your grade... expl. if you are hired as a grade 5 you would probably start out around 26k-29k. Goodluck
