I am about 2 semesters away from getting my degree in Business Administration. I want to work in hotels, I have had 3 different jobs in hotels, including one management position, and love them. I find myself wanting to build my own hotel, i like thinking about building a hotel or how I would change a current hotel. My question is in two parts. Do you think i should look into architecture? and if so... how long will it take to get a degree in that after i have a business degree?<br />

You said you want to work in hotels, then you should concentrate on getting a position with a hotel chain. Don't be afraid to start at the bottom and work you way up. Even today, paying your dues counts for a lot and it also gives you a chance to experience the ins and outs of owning and running a hotel. When you think you are ready, you can collaborate with an architect to build you what you want. You may want to consider taking on or two basic courses in architecture if you want to be sure you understand what's going on in the planning of your future hotel.

Look into doing hotel management classes. Work at a large chain like "HILTON" that is known for being high end. also consider moving to las vegas and learning the hotel/casino bit. there is millions to be made there.
