Every month, and no ING does not charges for transfering, i'm not sure about wachovia, but most banks also do not charge for transfering.

It's compounded monthly. Ing does not charge fees for transferring money into or out of the account.

wachovia probably charges a fee, I'm not sure how often
the interest,is applied but I check mail a check (like I'm writing out a bill ) Then I "pretend" I don't have it so
I don't use it.
