Hey, guys
Just wondering how many bank accounts do you have? I have one checking and one savings is it enough? If you have more what is the reason of having more than 2 thanks |

it depends on a lot of factors. if you are a regular wage employee, it would be normal to have just a checking and savings account. if you are self employed, it makes things a little more difficult. I am 1099/self employed, so i use a slush fund account. my money goes into that account, and i basically pay myself weekly. that way i have a consistent income.
if you are married or share funds with a significant other, you may want to each have a separate account and have one that you share for bills and such. |

I got a credit card through MBNA who just became Bank of America. Low(ish) limit, but the interest rate isn't too hateful from what I remember (18-19 probably). Online banking isn't too bad, either.

18% is huge. i wont get another card unless it's under 10% and that is still high.

The number of accounts you have is up to you. I have one checking account and one regular savings account at my local bank. I also have funds with Merrill Lynch, Fidelity and other firms that manage funds for me. Just about everyone that manages money offers some form of checking account. The ones at my local bank are free. Merrill charges $100/annually as a "maintenance" fee.
